How a Jet Leak Behaves

Jet leaks tend to give themselves away by timing. Because the jets sit on the pressure side of the system, a failed jet seal usually leaks most while the spa is running and the pump is pushing water through it — then slows or stops once everything shuts off. You might also notice the affected jet feels weaker than its neighbors, sputters and pulls in air, or leaves the water level noticeably lower after each use.
